Book of Women’s Prayers. Church Publishing is planning a sequel to the book “Women’s Uncommon Prayers: Our Lives Revealed, Nurtured, Celebrated”, which contained prayers by women in the USA. The new book seeks the voices of women and girls across the Anglican Communion as they pray their experiences of global concerns, and you are invited to send contributions. Topics for prayer might include personal experiences of poverty, hunger, gender inequality, pregnancy and motherhood, or disease. You might pray for the Spirit to inspire the world’s leaders, or reflect on the close connection between women’s and environmental spirituality. Submissions may be sent by email to prayers@cpg.org (deadline 1 Sept). Please include your full name, mailing address, and email address.
